Terms of service.

Plain language, in good faith. By creating an account or using The Candidature you agree to these terms. We have kept them short and direct, in keeping with the rest of the product.

What The Candidature is

The Candidature is automated job-search tooling. It finds roles that may fit you, drafts tailored resumes and application materials from your real experience, and, with your explicit consent at each step, helps you prepare and submit applications.

Much of what the product produces is generated by AI. You are responsible for reviewing every generated document before you use it or send it anywhere. Generated content can contain errors, and only you can vouch for what goes out under your name.

Your account

You need an account to use the product, and it is personal to you. Keep your credentials to yourself and tell us if you believe someone else has used them. Give us accurate information about yourself; the product prepares real applications on your behalf, and it can only be as honest as the material you provide.

With your permission, an authorized operator may use a loopback-only support tool to view or repair data as your account owner. Support access is time-limited, starts read-only, requires explicit confirmation before changes, and is audited. It does not sign in to your account or change your authentication providers, credentials, or stored account role.

Subscriptions and billing

A confirmed user who completes onboarding receives one included first briefing. It can run one personalized discovery, enrichment, and company-research chain. No card is required for that included briefing. It is not an open-ended free plan and it does not include another search, ongoing monitoring, Tailor, Applier, or unrelated workflows.

Paid plans are subscriptions billed through Stripe, our payment processor. Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial unless a valid offer at checkout states a different period. We collect a card when the paid trial starts, and the trial converts to the selected paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial period. The selected price and exact first charge date are shown at checkout before you confirm.

You can cancel anytime through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Refund terms are in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Checkout and billing changes are disabled during support access. Work run in Support Admin mode is paid by the operator and does not consume your Starter entitlement, plan quota, or customer usage counters. This support mechanism does not change the $19 or $59 plan prices, the paid 7-day trial, cancellation rights, or refund terms.

The Tailor credit pack

You can buy a one-time pack of 25 Tailor credits. The pack applies to the current billing period only. It does not roll over and it does not renew on its own.

Acceptable use

• Use the product for your own job search, or with the explicit permission of the person you are helping.
• Do not misrepresent your work history or submit deceptive or fraudulent applications.
• Do not resell, sublicense, or rebrand the product as your own.
• Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically extract the product's prompts, model artifacts, or orchestration framework.
• Do not use the product to send spam or to interfere with employer systems.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. If we close your account, we will give you a reasonable window to export your data first.

No guaranteed outcomes

The Candidature helps you present yourself well. It does not and cannot guarantee interviews, offers, replies, or any other job outcome. Hiring decisions are made by other people in other rooms.

Limit of liability

The product is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the extent permitted by law, The Candidature's total liability for any claim related to the product is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes to these terms

If we change anything material, we will update the date at the top of this page and write to you before the change takes effect. If you do not accept a change, cancel and stop using the product, and we will not hold it against you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
