Short and humane. If something about a charge feels wrong, write to us and we will sort it out.

Free trials

Your one included first briefing does not require a card and is not a paid-plan trial. It does not create a charge or subscription.

Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial unless a valid checkout offer states a different period. A card is required when that paid trial starts. The trial costs nothing until it converts, and the selected price and first charge date are shown at checkout before you confirm. Cancel anytime before that date and you will not be charged.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel anytime through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep full access until then. We do not prorate the remainder of the month.

Refunds on subscription charges

Subscription charges are generally non-refundable. That said, if a charge was unintended, a trial you meant to cancel or a renewal you did not expect, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will make it right.

Tailor credit packs

A Tailor credit pack is refundable as long as it is unused. Once you spend credits from a pack, the pack is no longer refundable.

Support remediation

Authorized Support Admin remediation is operator-comped. It does not spend your paid allowance, consume the included first briefing, create a Stripe overage, or change the refund and cancellation rules above. Checkout and billing-portal actions are disabled during support access.

Write to support@thecandidature.com from the email on your account, with the date of the charge if you have it. A person reads these.
