Application ethics.
The Candidature is built around honest applications. It helps you find better-fit roles, draft from real source material, and prepare submissions that pause for your approval.
Your source material is the boundary
The product can reorder, condense, and clarify your experience. It should not invent skills, titles, employers, education, accomplishments, or credentials you did not provide.
Drafts should stay traceable to your resume, profile, and instructions. When a role asks for something you do not have, the right answer is to be clear, not to pad the record.
The product works for the candidate
The Candidature is not a recruiter marketplace. There is no placement cut, no employer-paid incentive, and no reason to push you toward volume when a smaller set of better applications would serve you better.
Applications you send are applications you read
The Candidature can prepare and send applications on your behalf, but it never decides alone. Every form answer, every resume, every reply to a free-text question is staged as a finished application you can read. The product shows you the words it intends to use, why it chose them, and what it would change if you pushed back. Nothing is sent until you give the go-ahead. You approve. Not the model.
This is slower than the alternative. We think the slower path is the right one for senior candidates presenting themselves in earnest.
What we will not do
- We will not apply blindly. Applying on your behalf happens inside boundaries you set, and no application is sent without your approval. The product is built to apply well, not to apply as often as possible.
- We will not sell, rent, or trade your data to recruiters, employers, or marketing platforms.
- We will not enrich your record from third-party data brokers.
- We will not train shared models on the contents of your resume material or drafts.
- We will not use dark patterns, growth loops, or engagement schedules to keep you in the product.
What we will do
- We will make export and deletion one click, not five steps.
- We will tell you when we change anything material in how the product handles your data.
- We will close the studio rather than break these promises.
If you find a place where the product behaves differently than this page describes, that is a bug, and the studio wants to hear about it. Write to us.
